2024 International Conference

Save the date! The 2024 Neurowrx International Conference will take place in Amsterdam on October 16–18, 2024. Thank you to Neurowrx member Swink for hosting this year's event!The theme, Global Autism Employment: The Challenges & Opportunities, covers a variety of topics, including:

  • Global Neurodiversity Culture

Monthly Membership Call

Our next Monthly Membership Call is happening via Zoom on Wednesday, May 8, at 10:00 AM CDT. Special guest speaker Larry Rothman will discuss the work that HAAPE is doing, the importance of building affiliate networks, and more.

Katherine Breward

Katherine Breward has published a new book, Guide to Disability and Inclusion in the Workplace. Intended for HR students, business managers and owners, and HR practitioners, the book would also be helpful for members of the disability community seeking to self-advocate in workplace settings. The book provides practical, realistic how-to advice for accommodating a range of disabilities. Available now through Sage Publications. »


Zavikon

Congratulations to Zavikon on a successful inaugural Autism in Entertainment conference! Held on April 5 in Los Angeles, this sold-out event highlighted efforts to solve the unemployment and underemployment outcomes for neurodivergent creatives in the entertainment sector, and the talent and organizations making it happen. Aspiritech

Aspiritech's new podcast, On the Verge: Conversations with the Neurodiversity Movement, showcases conversations between the Aspiritech team and activists, allies, artists, and more. The first three episodes, featuring guests Zavikon founder and CEO Rebecca Beam, artist and designer Amanda Hebert Hughes, and producer and director Scott Steindorff, are out now. HAAPE

South Florida PBS featured HAAPE's partnership with Broward College to help young adults on the autism spectrum get training and education for successful careers in avionics. The clip also highlights the significant impact neuroinclusive hiring has on local economies. Watch the video. »
