Katherine Breward has published a new book, Guide to Disability and Inclusion in the Workplace. Intended for HR students, business managers and owners, and HR practitioners, the book would also be helpful for members of the disability community seeking to self-advocate in workplace settings. Zavikon
Congratulations to Zavikon on a successful inaugural Autism in Entertainment conference! Held on April 5 in Los Angeles, this sold-out event highlighted efforts to solve the unemployment and underemployment outcomes for neurodivergent creatives in the entertainment sector, and the talent and organizations making it happen. Aspiritech
Aspiritech's new podcast, On the Verge: Conversations with the Neurodiversity Movement, showcases conversations between the Aspiritech team and activists, allies, artists, and more. The first three episodes, featuring guests Zavikon founder and CEO Rebecca Beam, artist and designer Amanda Hebert Hughes, and producer and director Scott Steindorff, are out now. HAAPE
South Florida PBS featured HAAPE's partnership with Broward College to help young adults on the autism spectrum get training and education for successful careers in avionics. The clip also highlights the significant impact neuroinclusive hiring has on local economies. Watch the video. »
